2026-04-23ThuSphereLas Vegas, NVRated 76 · ListenJam chartMomentarily bordering on plinko to kick things off, the jam becomes echo laden and accented with a dark groove as Trey briefly plays on the low end and Mike’s effects cast a shadow that serves as contrast to what follows. Trey’s lead becomes more linear and Page responds in lockstep. The whole affair is held together by Fishman’s stutter step consistency giving rise to a flash point and leading to satisfying consummation. Before / afterEstherBrian and RobertGap5SET 1
2025-09-19FriHampton ColiseumHampton, VAHighly rated 83 · ListenJam chartCool lines and great vibes, the band embarks on a great, throwback version (one can almost hear "Another One Bites The Dust" working to surface). Trey strums after the six-minute mark, signaling a contemporary shift, and his solo follows suit - the tone, if not the mood of the jam, markedly different. Cool shades of "Norwegian Wood" - or play akinto - seem to flavor the jam's melodic texture, before Trey builds to a draw your own conclusion, conclusion. Almost. For Page, on his piano, takes over, working through a fine iteration of the song's classic coda. Before / afterRiftPebbles and MarblesGap14SET 1
2025-07-16WedTD Pavilion at the MannPhiladelphia, PAJam chartPlay breaks from the standard "Gumbo" jam almost immediately, with Page's plucky clavinet setting the funky bedrock. Envelope filters, synths, and synth bass all slather the groove as the music glides into delightful space-funk territories. Trey then drives this towards a swagger-filled peak, before giving way to Page's traditional piano outro. Before / afterFluffheadPebbles and MarblesGap11SET 1

2025-04-23WedBill Graham Civic AuditoriumSan Francisco, CAHighly rated 83 · ListenJam chartCenterpiece of a classic first set, Trey directly breaks directly to jam, a la "Cities." There is a sense of unencumbered determinism as, through the 5:00 mark, with Fish nuts on his cymbals, Trey sets off to strum. He then picks a melodic line made very much of the stuff of the song, which contributes to the evening's old-school air. Play pools a few minutes later to stew and it is from this brew, pleasantly offset by splashes of "Manteca" and dashes "Tweezer," where we get a sense this jam is going to be different. Only a few minutes remain, and it is here where you may find some of your favorite Trey of the tour before the band, as if the song hasn't been forgotten since 2003 (hyperbole), neatly drives the version to a close. Before / afterPunch You in the Eye >> RebaGap7SET 1

Jam chartIn a summer full of surprise jamming tunes, the return of the "Gumbo" jam is surely one of the most welcome for fans of the song's output from '97-'03. This longest version since that heyday (now surpassed) touches on familiar staccato funk and upbeat calypso before ending with a rough-and-tumble -> to "Saw it Again".Before / afterMy Soul-> Saw It AgainGap9SET 1

Jam chartTrey goes to the MuTron out of the final verse, and Fish hits on a "Manteca"-type beat that helps lead into a funky and psychedelic jam. Mike, in particular, is superb.

Jam chartFunky super groove with a lot of "Manteca" teases. Very melodic Trey before an awesome "Manteca" ending. Page rage throughout. One of the strongest versions ever.
